Coconut coir, although an excellent hydroponic medium, has it’s own unique set of properties which need to be catered for if you are to extract the maximum benefit from this media. Superbud causes the flowers to grow to extremely large sizes thereby increasing the chances of bud rot occurring. Silicon has long been recognised as a good inoculant against botrytis provided that silicon is in a soluble & reactive form which can be evenly & rapidly distributed throughout the plant.
